Walking wounds

Yesterday Wyatt started gaining even more confidence while walking so he will just stand up and take off! It is so amazing to watch him grow and learn! The only problem is he likes to try to run so he ended up falling a couple times and got a bump on his forehead and a scuff above his left eye. He doesn't seem to care though. Here he is happily playing this morning.

Beach trip

Wyatt and I went to Lincoln City last Wednesday and met our friends for lunch to celebrate Courtney's birthday. Happy Birthday Courtney!

Wyatt even got to walk on the beach and squish sand between his toes. He thought the water was a little too cold though....

Date Night!!

Last weekend my parents came down to visit and then took care of Wyatt all afternoon and evening Saturday so Jason and I could have a date night!! It was so wonderful of them and we had such a great time. Wyatt had a great time with Grandpa and Grandma too. :) Jason even borrowed his friend's Corvette for the day and we had a fun time driving around in that too.

I'm not sure which one is about to eat the baby food here :)

Wyatt absolutely loved Grandpa's motorcycle. Every time Grandpa reved the engine or honked the horn Wyatt got a huge smile and started laughing

We all went to church on Sunday and dedicated Wyatt

What a great weekend!

Wyatt's first haircut

Today Jason needed a haircut after work and so we took Wyatt along and the barber cut his hair for free! Wyatt did such a good job and didn't mind the clippers at all. His haircut turned out very cute too! He looks more and more like a little boy every day and not a baby. After haircuts we went next door to the ice cream shop and had a treat which Wyatt got to share a little of and he absolutely loved!

Day at the Beach

Yesterday we drove to Newport and spent the day at the beach with some friends and their kids. We had a nice lunch, watched the sea lions, and went to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. It was a fun day and a good trip.

Pool Party!

Today we went over to a friend's house and had a play date with three other little boys. It took some convincing, but Wyatt did eventually enjoy the pool and started kicking his legs and splashing. We had a fun time!

Cool Man Pose

Yesterday when i put Wyatt down for his nap he decided to sleep like this.

Wyatt and his new toy

We just got out this walker/rider for Wyatt this week and he loves it!

Rolling along..

Wyatt loves to roll over and grab at his toys now. If he sees something across his playmat he'll usually roll over, grab it, and start chewing on it. It is so great. Jason says you can't keep him on his back anymore because when you lay him down he rolls right over.

Trip to the Museum

Wyatt and I went to the Air and Space Museum yesterday. We missed Jason because he had to work, but had a great time with our friends and their kids. Wyatt loved these little airplanes and immediately started spinning the steering wheel and then trying to put it in his mouth. Everything goes straight to the mouth these days! I know I've said this before, but I can't believe how big he is getting!! It is so fun to be able to do these things with him now.
Standing in front of the Spruce Goose

Piano time

Jason and Wyatt played the piano the other night and Wyatt had a great time pushing all the keys down and making lots of sound.

Big Boy Chair!

This has been a big week for Wyatt. On Sunday he started rolling over!! It was so cool to watch him and he seemed so proud of himself. Then I tried to put his shoes on for church and they didn't fit anymore! I can't believe how fast he's growing and how big he seems all of a sudden. The next day we got out his feeding chair that my Grandma bought for him and so now he can sit at the table like a big boy and play with his toys or watch us eat dinner. The seat is so cool because it replaces a high chair so we don't have to find room for that :) (it sits on a chair just like a booster seat) and also it is very adjustable and versatile. The back has several positions so you can lean it back to feed a baby or sit it up for an older child, but then it goes all the way up to being a booster seat for toddlers. I love things that serve multiple purposes and that you will be able to use for long time!

New Stroller!

I am so excited because we finally got a stroller for Wyatt and I absolutely love it! We got to try it out for the first time last week when we were in Eugene with Jason and it is so easy to maneuver. I took it all around the mall and through the hotel and everything. It has a 360 degree rotating front wheel that is perfect for steering anywhere and then it locks for jogging. Wyatt does really well in it too and seems to like it.

Not sure what to think of this new contraption at first.....
Now I love it!
Daddy even put me to sleep by walking me

It's Been A While.....

So I know I haven't posted anything for quite some time so I am going to do some catch up tonight and post pictures from the last couple months. I can't believe how much Wyatt has changed!!
